Privacy Policy

The short version

This is the privacy policy for topfollow.net/. It covers what happens when you visit the site, read these pages, or send us an email. We wrote it in plain English on purpose. A policy nobody can read isn't much of a policy.

Here’s the part most people actually care about. We don’t ask for your Instagram password. Not on this website, and not inside the Top Follow app. When you place an order in the app, the only thing it needs is your Instagram username, the public one anyone can already see on your profile. That’s it. If some page or message ever tells you to type your Instagram password to use Top Follow, it isn’t coming from us, and you should close it.

What this website collects

Open a page on topfollow.net/ and our server, along with the tools we run, sees the same ordinary stuff nearly every website sees. Your approximate location down to the country or city (worked out from your IP address). The browser and device you're on. Which page you landed on, and where you clicked after that. We read this to tell which pages people actually use and which ones nobody touches, so we know what to fix and what to drop.

We’re not keeping a file on you by name. What we look at is numbers and patterns, not “this specific person opened the download page at 2pm.” Email us at our contact address and that’s different: we hold on to your message and your email address, because there’s no way to answer you otherwise. One simple rule follows from that. Don’t put anything in an email to us that you wouldn’t want us to have sitting in an inbox.

Cookies

This site uses a handful of cookies. A couple of them exist only to make the site work and remember a basic setting. The rest belong to the analytics tool mentioned above, which drops a cookie so it can tell a returning visitor apart from a new one. You stay in control. Block cookies, wipe them, or browse in a private window, and the site still loads normally. You’ll just look like a first-time visitor every time, and that’s genuinely fine with us.

The app and this site are separate things

Whatever the Top Follow app does on your phone happens inside the app, not on this website. The main point still holds in both places, though. The app runs on coins: you earn them by following a profile or liking a post from a spare account, then you spend them to order followers or likes for your own profile, using nothing but your username. Your password never comes up. This website mostly exists to host the APK, explain how the whole thing works, and point you toward the Telegram channel where free coin codes get posted.

Links, ads, and other companies

Some pages here link out to other sites, and we may run ads. The moment you click through to somewhere else, or an ad network sets its own cookie, that company’s rules take over, not ours. We can’t see what they collect and we can’t control it. If you care about this sort of thing, read the privacy policy of whatever site you end up on after you leave ours.

How long we keep things

Analytics sticks around in aggregated form for a limited stretch, then it rolls off on its own. Emails you send stay as long as we might reasonably need them to help you, and we clear out the old ones we don’t. Want a conversation we’ve had deleted? Ask, and it’s gone.

Children

The site and the app are built for people 13 and up. We don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone younger. If you’re a parent and you think your kid under 13 sent us something, email us and we’ll delete it.

Getting in touch about your data

Questions about what we hold, or a request to wipe it, go to the same place as everything else. Head to our contact page, tell us what you want, and we’ll handle it.

Changes

We’ll edit this policy from time to time, usually because something on the site shifted or the law did. When that happens, the updated version lands right here. Keep using the site after a change and we’ll take that as you being okay with the current version. For more about who we are, see the about page, or check the DMCA page for takedown requests.
